Jumeirah Group’s newest resort Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab will lead a new generation of Group’s ultra-luxury portfolio. About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Manager to join our Guest Relations team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • To assist with the smooth and efficient operation of the main lobby and to provide all guests entering the hotel with a warm welcome and offer assistance as appropriate.

  • To act as liaison between Front of the House departments in all matters related to guests checking in and/or checking out, as well as ensuring maximum follow up during their stay.

  • To achieve maximum sales and guest satisfaction by adhering to the standards of service required in accordance with the hotel’s policies, procedures and objectives.

  • To act as the main point of contact for all high-level VIP guests from pre arrival to post departure.

  • To compose and issue the VIP memo on a daily basis.

  • To assign amenities on daily basis to all arriving VIP / return guests and ensure coordination with Room Service at all times.

  • To ensure a welcome card is prepared by either the GM, HM or ADOR for every arriving VIP / return guests.

  • To maintain and consistently update the guest profile.

  • To carry out daily courtesy calls to VIPs / return guests.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years luxury hospitality experience

  • Hands-on experience with guest relations tasks for large organizations, preferably 5* hotels and resorts

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Must have good time management abilities

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to get along well with co-workers and guests

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent organizational and team management skills

  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
