About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intern - Culinary across Jumeirah Hotels in Dubai. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
• Preparing the mise-en-place and handling food preparation as well as assisting with food presentation as part of the kitchen brigade.
• Assemble and prepare ingredients for menu items. Prepare simple food items.
• Assist with checking, receiving, and storing goods. Maintain storage areas.
• Maintain a hygienic kitchen and high standards of personal hygiene.
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas
• Demonstrate flexibility and volunteer to fill open shifts as required by variations in staffing.
• Follow the HACCP system setup and as trained
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Prior internship in a 5-star hotel, luxury restaurant is preferred, but not mandatory.
A student in a Hospitality school or a recent graduate.
Fluent in English and an additional international language is a plus.
Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
