About the Job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cashier - Food & Beverage to join our Creations team in Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Job Purpose: To process guests' bills, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals. The Cashier is responsible for processing cash, debit, credit, and check transactions using a point-of-sale system, balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, and processing returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that every food & beverage sale is recorded in the POS system.

• Process checks for employee meals, complimentary services, and entertainment as per policy.

• Open guest checks in the POS system, punch orders, and settle checks via cash, room charge, or credit card.

• Prepare cashier summaries and tally them with Micros (POS) readings at the end of shifts.

• Ensure deposit envelopes are prepared, recorded, and securely deposited as per procedures.

• Maintain accurate transaction records and receipts.

• Assist in cashing up procedures, banking, and understanding costs impacting Profit and Loss.

Experience:

• 2+ years of hospitality experience, preferably within the international hospitality industry.

Competencies:

• Excellent listening skills and customer orientation.

• Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak).

• Basic computer knowledge and experience with Micros Cashiering systems.

• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to a diverse cultural environment.
