About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive – Business Planning and Reporting to join Dubai Holding Asset Management . The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Business Planning
Coordinate and support annual revenue, G&A, and capex budgets for retail destinations.
Coordinate and prepare quarterly budget forecasts for the retail destinations and submit to the line manager.
Prepare monthly tracker for the allocated budgets to ensure compliance and conduct analysis of asset performance (budget vs. actual), highlighting possible slippages with recommended corrective actions.
Analysis and Reporting
Support the line manager with Monthly Retail Division Report / Presentation comprising the division’s financial performance (revenue, expenses & EBITDA), leasing status (new deals, holdovers & renewals), operations performance (footfall, tenant sales, occupancy & OCR) and collections/receivables status.
Support and coordinate in compiling tenant sales reports for retail destinations on a monthly basis.
Support and coordinate in compiling visitors’ footfall reports for retail destinations on a weekly basis.
Support various stakeholders with periodic retail performance reports, e.g., sales, footfall, rent roll, occupancy %, occupancy costs, etc.
Support the Yardi enhancement project with required retail operations reporting requirements inputs.
Coordinate and prepare various day-to-day/ad hoc reports to support ongoing retail operations.
Support the retail leasing and mall management teams with various reporting templates.
Budget Control
Support the line manager in reviewing budget vs. actual financial details in order to help with selection of new tenants for retail destinations.
Review the proposed tenant details prepared by Leasing Managers, analyze the budget vs. proposed financials, correct the numbers in case of any discrepancies, and ensure that the accurate financial figures are submitted to senior management for decision-making purposes.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Commerce / Statistics or any related field.
Minimum 3-4 years in a similar/related role within a diverse Retail conglomerate.
Middle East experience is preferred
