About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Director of Rooms to join Jumeirah Mina Al Salam . The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Manage assigned projects to elevate the resort's product and brand image, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
Support business strategy implementation, focusing Business Excellence principles to enhance overall performance.
Oversee capital expenditure projects, ensuring timely execution to maintain resort assets effectively.
Conduct regular inspections of hotel room operations, identifying inconsistencies and implementing action plans to address any gaps.
Monitor guest feedback platforms and communicate results to drive continuous improvement efforts.
Participate in training programs to enhance personal and departmental standards, aligning with the departmental training plan.
Manage governmental-related requests and communications for in-house guests, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Achieve departmental objectives and targets, contributing to the hotel's overall balance scorecard.
Propose initiatives to create guest experience and maintain records of customer feedback and complaint resolution.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures, maintain open communication channels, and lead efforts to monitor competitive operations and recommend improvements.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience within the international luxury hospitality industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Problem Solving, Reasoning and Analytical Abilities
Financial Acumen
Excellent Organizational skills
