About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Director of Front Office to join Jumeirah Mina Al Salam Team. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
The main responsibilities are:
Ensures that the highest quality service is delivered at all times and manages his/her department in an effective manner
Attends daily Ex-Com Meetings
Maintains and protects the privacy of in-house guests in respective whilst ensuring the security as well
Has a full and comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel, including all departments, services and outlets
Handles guest feedback efficiently and identifies and anticipate guests’ needs and requirements
Employs discipline as required utilizing consistency, fairness and respect within the framework of established guidelines
Conducts effective and timely staff performance appraisals
Ensuring that a high level of communication is maintained during Briefings/Trainings at all times in cascading Departmental Objectives, Vision, Mission Statement, Quality Policy and quality awareness, Hallmarks and the Guiding Principles of the company
Supports and assists Hotel Manager and General Manager
All inventories are carried out on a regular basis by liaising with the departments concerned
Prepares Manning requirements in accordance with the Manning Budget
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
At least 2 years Director of Rooms experience or similar in a 5 star hotel with a minimum of 200 rooms
Excellent Opera Knowledge (Front Office Applications)
Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential)
Knowledge of additional language (Desired)
