About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Manager – Parking Management role to join Dubai Holding Asset Management Retail . The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Conduct site visits to gather comprehensive information, including site details and parking specifications.
Compile tender documentation, incorporating technical details and drawings, obtain necessary approvals, float tenders, and raise purchase requests (PRs).
Conduct kick-off meetings with appointed contractors and finalize project requirements through site visits.
Review contractors' submissions, obtain required approvals, inspect completed work, and coordinate progress meetings with contractors.
Issue non-compliance statements where applicable and conduct site acceptance tests/user acceptance tests.
Ensure parking site readiness through liaison with stakeholders and hand over PMS keys, pay stations, and cash float to respective service providers.
Conduct pretesting to ensure Parking management system readiness.
Commence parking operations, monitor activities, and conduct regular inspections/audits.
Document incidents and accidents and coordinate with CCR operators for malfunction or breakdown.
Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in parking asset management, tendering processes, and parking system installations, with a minimum of 7-9 years in a similar role.
Comprehensive understanding of parking management systems, installation, and ongoing operations.
Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully overseeing parking asset monetization initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively, ensuring optimal performance.
Familiarity with parking industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
