Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is a contemporary lifestyle hotel located 2km from Dubai International Airport in the heart of old Dubai. About the Job:

To administer all cost control related processing activities to ensure the appropriate internal controls are followed. These will be done by providing timely and accurate cost information to the management.

Your main duties will include:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To supervise and to ensure smooth running of cost control operation.

  • To prepare daily flash food and beverage cost.

  • To randomly check the posting of officers, Entertainment and void reports.

  • To check daily receiving verify report and export to Sun Financials.

  • Recipe costing for new menus and approvals done.

  • Review and sign store requisition to ensure accuracy of cost maintained.

  • To conduct spot checks in receiving, stores and outlets.

  • Check the posting of the store's requisitions for all major groups.

  • Reconcile FOC & promoters summary by outlet.

  • To implement food and beverage controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Check recipe costing and updating yield tests.

  • Set up bar stocks for outlets and the main stores.

  • To prepare P&L statement for major functions.

  • Prepare and Posting of JV in ERP Financial System.

  • Analyse outlet food and beverage cost.

  • To prepare month end reports. (Inventory Turnover, Catering Sales Summary and F&B Stats Report)

  • To analyse monthly price increase report for Food and Beverage.

  • To provide department with financial data necessary to analyze their performance for maximum profitability.

  • All pre-opening tasks and responsibilities as per pre-opening plan but not limited to pre-opening plan – if applicable

  • Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management team including assistance for large events or hotel functions.

  • Check the documented evidence of receipt by the receiving department.

  • Ensure all the invoices are approved by the head of the department.

  • Accruals to be made at the month end for the invoices not recorded.

  • Maintain proper filing for all the documents.

  • Assisting the Internal & External auditors from time to time during their audit.

About you:

Qualifications:

  • Hotel Management graduate, Finance operations certificate holder, or a Recognized Degree in Finance or Accounting.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1–2-year experience in similar role

  • Knowledge of the Uniformed System of Account for Lodging Industry.

Skills:

  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines

  • Fluent command of English-spoken and written

  • Ability to train and supervise colleagues in the department.

  • Fluency in MS Office and IT software including ERP (Tahweel), Simphony, Book4time, and Micros.
