About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Coordinator. To provide right-hand support across the legal team, ensuring the seamless execution of daily operations, facilitating communication, and contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Legal office.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, coordinate meetings, and prioritize tasks to optimize the General Counsel's time.

  • Ensures that all legal invoices received are aligned with the agreed matter plans or engagement letters. Coordinates directly with the law firms for any questionable charges.

  • Ensures that law firms are paid, and no invoices are left unpaid/closed for receiving in the ERP Oracle.

  • Ensures that all the law firm partners (vendors) are fully registered and validated in Oracle ERP and assistance with providing advice on this process.

  • Ensures timely follow-up on outstanding tasks.

  • Entrusted with sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.

  • Manage confidential documents and correspondence with care.

  • Assist in coordinating special projects, initiatives, and strategic activities led by the senior legal team members.

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure project deadlines are met.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, on behalf of the legal team

  • Represent the Jumeirah Corporate office in a professional and positive manner.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Advanced)

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

  • Previous experience of handling billing, invoicing and budgeting.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an exceptional attention to detail.

  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional demeanour, with a proactive and positive attitude.

  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing plans and competing priorities.
