Job Overview:
Here's your chance to step into the role of AV & Lighting Technician (Fixed Term 11 Months) at Orb Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:
To comply with Global Village Vision & Mission.

Ensure compliance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
Ensures the Safety of Guests and Employees all the times.
Conducts Planned Preventative Maintenance on an ongoing basis to ensure rides Lights are fully operational
Supports the Technical Management to ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in timely manner
Complete any required paperwork and checklists to the required standard
Supports with the process of identifying ride faults and resolving them.
Takes active responsibility for Lights technical stoppages and management of them whilst the park is open
Check the Rides attractions & park wide Lights frequently for any needed repairs and maintenance. Ensures all such checklists and reports are captured via ride maintenance software, if available.
Conducts continuous safety inspections to identify and correct hazards
Ensures proper use of machines, tools and equipment
Inspects/checks and approves opening, suspension and re-opening of rides and attractions.
Works closely with Ride Operations and the Operations Departments to ensure proper service.
Ensures that any accidents and incidents are reported to Carnaval Management immediately
Enforces and adheres to all Department and Park policies and guidelines.
Follow all GV policies as they relate to general office protocol and specifically for Carnaval operations and park safety.
About you:
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:
Certificate of Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical
2 years’ experience working with amusement rides.
Must possess a working knowledge of international standards (i.e. EN 13814, standards related to Amusement rides and devices), Torque Inspection Standards & Inspection international Standard EN 17020.
Must be able to read Blueprints, Electrical Schematics, Ride Drawings & Manufacturer manuals.

This position is responsible to repair, maintain and maximize availability of all amusement rides and devices Lights at Carnaval, Global Village, and keeping safety as the top priority. Ensures compliance with all applicable requirements and standards.
Qualification: Trade License holder / Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Electrotechnical or Electrotechnical.
Experience : 2 years’ experience working with amusement rides
