About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive – Guest Relations, Rooms to join team at Jumeirah Al Qasr Hotel . The Senior Executive is responsible for assisting with the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day operation of the guest relations department, ensuring all hotel guests and visitors receive delightful and memorable service in line with Jumeirah philosophy. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Present VIP arrivals/ Departures, R4, updates, itinerary of VIP on daily Operational Morning Meeting, update the team accordingly after the meeting

  • Conducts checks against pre-arrival stages for VIPs by contacting them relevant person and departments to gather pertinent data to best plan the arrival experience and provide necessary GRE support. Send flag VIP form to relevant departments.

  • Monitor the VIP facilities and perform the last-minute checks on the suites reserved for VIP guests to make sure they are in excellent condition and ready for them when they arrive.

  • Deal with VIP guests/delegations, coordinates and liaises with all concerned departments to ensure smooth operations for VIP arrivals/departures. Arrange their billing and monitor their arrival and departure experience

  • Ensures VIP courtesy visit/call day prior to departure, offer express check out. Meet VIP guest upon departure to check on their stay experience.

  • Update guest reservation with collected information and ensure allocation and preferences are met

  • Meet all Platinum and Gold members of the Jumeirah One Loyalty Program personally and ensure that they have a direct line to reach the Guest Relations Team

  • Recognizes all repeat and important guests, and builds rapport developing personal guest contact, obtain preferences and proactively anticipate guest needs and requirements

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • UAE National as per government requirements

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University

  • Internationally approved Food Safety Certificate

  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship management sills.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc).
