Jumeirah Group’s newest resort Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab will lead a new generation of Group’s ultra-luxury portfolio. Nestled at the tip of a peninsula at the heart of Dubai’s largest private beach, with design influences of a futuristic superyacht, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab will feature 303 rooms, 84 suites, and 82 serviced residences set amid private landscaped gardens. It encompasses specially integrated wellness and leisure destinations and an impressive line-up of signature restaurants, including a new concept comprising 4 restaurants in 1. With all rooms offering a panoramic vista over the Arabian Sea, this statement property will mark a new epoch for Jumeirah Group.

About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Ambassador to join our Guest Relations Team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • To assist in being the life and soul of the lobby/public areas, creating a positive environment and maintaining and engaging, approachable, helpful and friendly demeanor to colleagues and guests alike.

  • Acknowledge, greet, welcome, engage and initiate genuine adaptive conversation with guests and visitors facilitating the smooth operation of the lobby, obtaining feedback, and assisting in creating memorable guest experiences.

  • Provide historical and cultural facts of the destination and be a storyteller for Jumeirah and the unique hotel differentiators / interesting facts.

  • Provide the latest information on the hotel’s outlets, amenities, services and facilities whilst actively upselling our outlets.

  • Review arrival reports and ensure guest recognition.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the guests’ needs are accommodated and met efficiently.

  • Adhere to all hotel and company standards, business conduct and ethics, policies and procedures including health, hygiene & safety.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Previous 5 Star Luxury Hospitality experience

  • Strong Communication Skills

  • Team Player - Collaborates positively and effectively with others and team

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and processes

  • Time Management/ Adherence to schedule
