Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a luxurious beachside resort located on the west crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The interior of the resort is inspired by the ancient palaces of Turkey and features hand-painted finishing’s, Turkish artworks and stunning murals inspired by the Golden Age of the Ottoman Empire. The resort offers 405 rooms and suites, 38 Royal Residences and the award-winning Talise Ottoman Spa, one of the largest and most luxurious spas in the Middle East. The resort offers Sinbad’s Kids Club complete with splash park, performing art destination Zabeel Theatre and a collection of diverse restaurants which offer a vibrant selection of culinary experiences. About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our IT team in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray . The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Assist in ensuring critical systems, specifically Front Office Property Management System, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX and Food & Beverage Point of Sales computer systems are available twenty-four (24) hours per day.

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners

  • Provide Systems Administration, including maintaining user/group accounts, user configuration, trouble-shooting access problems and completion of on-site documentation.

  • Assist in Server infrastructure management, performance monitoring, Operating System upgrades and troubleshooting.

  • Assist with ensuring effective support for other systems, including back office, sales and catering and human resources applications and any other at the property.

  • Assist with maintaining and promoting Jumeirah’s core technology standards.

  • Good knowledge and support for Desktop OS and applications including windows patches.

  • Provide direct guest support and quality support to function rooms and conference services.

  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or online)

  • Carry out the repairs and maintenance of all PCs, printers, telephones, interactive system, key lock system, etc.

  • Should be capable of doing Root Cause Analysis on a problem.

  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, domain controller, Active Directory, and VPN applications.

  • Extensive knowledge on Active Directory, Management and Implementations.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

  • Is aware of the company’s Quality Policy, Vision, Mission Statement, Values and ensures that these are put into practice in our daily work activities

About You

  • Desirable: To have at least 2 years of experience in Hospitality IT.

  • Must be IT Graduate or equivalent certification.
