Summary

The Business Intelligence/Business Performance Optimization team resides within Bell Business Markets and is responsible for developing, maintaining and using data to drive insights on customer experience and optimization of our back office. The team consists of data analysts for analyzing data, capacity planning management for sourcing and maintaining data, programmers for building dashboards and data scientists for building machine learning models. Our team partners closely with other business intelligence teams within the company and supports primarily our operational teams with impactful insights that help us continue to transform the business.

As a Business analysts, you will be accountable for long-term capacity planning decisions as well as for leading our call and task placement strategy. This is a great opportunity for a transformational leader passionate about enhancing the customer experience while optimizing resource allocations. The successful candidate will assume an influential senior leadership position in the team, and have the opportunity to work closely with partners in Operations, Design & Delivery, Workforce Management, Recruitment, Training & Onboarding, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence as well as our key partners across Sales Marketing and call centre partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive decision-making processes on resource planning for internal and external teams supporting Bell Business Market customers

  • Identify areas of opportunities on resourcing and demonstrate to business partners how these can improve our customer service imperatives

  • Take an active role in the descriptive analytics of existing Long Term Planning processes and the design of future data models to forecasts workload and resource requirements including the development of machine learning capacities

  • Primary support operational teams in order to continue ongoing business transformation and optimization

  • Collaborate with other Transformational Project teams to assess impacts of cross-functional initiatives on customer service objectives and resources

  • Leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations

  • Influence and collaborate with our strategic Partners and Vendors to deliver results

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration between the different teams involved with decision planning.

Critical Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in enhancing productivity and optimizing resource forecasting

  • Strategic thinker with ability to quickly identify and understand issues and opportunities in an environment that is highly dynamic and competitive

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills in order to see beyond the symptoms of a business issue, and apply data analytics to create solutions in a logical and effective manner.

  • Proven track record in the successful management of a team; recognized leader with clear track record of using teamwork to create competitive advantage

  • Superior interpersonal, listening and business relationship skills in order to cultivate and sustain strategic relationships within the organization and understand developing areas of need and opportunity.

  • Proven leadership skills, influencing others with the ability to get things done; comfortable in complex, fast-paced, matrix environment

  • Very strong communicator; able to deal with multiple levels in the organization, including team members, vendors, and adapt communication style as needed for the audience

  • Must demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Solid business acumen and knows how to quickly understand the organization’s key drivers to success and make appropriate decisions in required time frames

  • Knowledge of Bell Business Market environment and project delivery processes is an asset.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience. Degree in Business, Finance or Engineering is an asset

  • Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
