At Omnicare, we support our company’s purpose by delivering practical and innovative solutions to address the needs of continued care communities.As the Purchasing Supervisor, you will:-Manage the purchasing, stocking, returns, and inventory control for our pharmacy in support of 65,000 Rx's per week.-Organize and manage the flow of $30M of inventory in a 24/7 operation.-Maintain compliance with CVS policies as well as State and Federal regulations.-Manage the waste disposal of expired or otherwise unusable medication-Work closely with the Automation Department, EDK Department, Cycle Fill/ ATC Department, and Dispensing Floor to make sure all needed product is available.To be successful, you will possess excellent leadership and communication skills to support our engaging, optimistic and enthusiastic work place culture. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be organized and have the ability to manage deadlines.
- Pharmacy Technician Registration/License in IL required. If not already registered, must apply for registration upon accepting offer.- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Supply Chain or Purchasing Experience preferred.- Project management experience preferred. - Leadership experience preferred.- Pharmacy experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
