Job Summary

Drives quality user experience and conversion rates on bv.com through consistent use of website best practices, performance data, SEO and testing to deliver qualified leads resulting in top and bottom-line profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Overall Duties

  • Oversee the functionality, CMS administration and performance of the website.

  • Collaborate with data analysis team on Google Analytics implementation, setting of measurable goals and ongoing performance reviews.

  • Collaborate with Demand Generation team leads on lead conversion and scoring strategy.

  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues.

  • Collaborate with the CIO’s office on:

  • management of relationship with web development agency.

  • hosting and server management.

  • website protection by enabling the appropriate security measures.

  • ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.

  • system integrations (marketing automation, SFDC, etc.)

  • Collaborate marketing leads on content and user experience strategies including:

  • content organization and hierarchy.

  • taxonomy strategy.

  • campaign landing page strategy.

  • processes for updating, refreshing and building out new content through the Content Management System (CMS).

  • goal setting, lead scoring and ongoing performance measurement.

  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.

  • Develop and manage testing plans to analyze user behavior and identify opportunities to optimize UX.

  • Leverage Google Analytics to provide insight on content performance and recommendations for optimization.

  • Stay informed of content and UX best practices, trends and competitor tactics to ensure a best-in-class website experience.

  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.

  • Collaborate with marketing analytics team on:

  • ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keywordopportunities.

  • ensuring SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.

  • leveraging Google Analytics and SEMRush to provide insight on search traffic performance and recommendations for further optimization.

  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

  • Regularly monitor and fix broken links.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of the use of an integrated marketing mix to support digital marketing efforts that increase demand in the sales funnel.

  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to demonstrate geographic and cultural awareness and understanding of planned use of digital marketing tools.

Preferred Competencies

  • Extensive experience working in content management systems (CMS), preferably Contentful.

  • Familiarity in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, preferably Eloqua.

  • Experience with reporting and use of metrics to track and measure performance.

  • Experience with web design and user experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, with 7+ years of corporate and/or agency digital marketing experience.

  • Five years of work experience managing websites and successfully implementing SEO strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and creative approaches to digital marketing.

  • Extensive experience working in content management systems (CMS).
