Job Title: Operations Analyst
Provides product and customer mix and margin analysis that drives the timely, fact-based decisions for margin improvement.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
New product cost analysis
By-customer reports detailing product mix and margin
Mine, analyze and provide monthly SPINS data review to senior team
Report standard yields vs actual yields for all co-packers
Track new requests and existing product development status. Provide timelines and summaries
Monitor all USDA packaging and approvals, keep on track
Provide performance analysis of first 6 months of new product sales
Product Deficiency analysis: analyze and assign responsibility for deficiency, and bring to resolution. Report to senior team monthly
Detailed explanation for variances between sum of weekly flash reports vs reported period totals (head count, live costs, promo costs, other adjustments not shown in weekly)
Timely distribution of weekly production registers
Train to be a junior Scheduler over a 2 - 3 year period
Serves as Foundation administrator (scholarship 501c3)
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / JOB TRAINING
Requires an Associate Degree in related field or 2-3 work experience. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, which includes the ability to work with the Logistics management team to understand the key performance indicators.
