Aerotek Connectivity Systems Engineer in Dearborn, Michigan


Systems Feature Engineer, based in Dearborn, MI

  • Define/develop and launch connected vehicle features on Mobile App, Cloud, Smart Wearables for Command & Control.

  • Lead cross-functional team, and project manage product development, program integration, and ongoing production support for mobile Apps.

  • Work with program teams, system engineering teams, and vehicle engineering teams to launch new/enhanced/carry over features

  • Work with strategy teams to migrate features to new vehicle architecture. Work with Verification teams, Plants & Customers to Triage/ Root Cause / Resolve Issues.

  • Develop, manage and execute the test cases for Command & Control Features to meet the quality standards set by the company.

  • Support and manage Technical Design Reviews via systems requirements, software code reviews and Design Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA).

  • Support end-to-end business process flow that cascade to vehicle components and off board application within Mobility Platform.

  • Responsible for supporting production issues and management tools to multiple sub systems.

  • Maintain open requirements issue list, review, track and report on progress and status in the project management tools.

  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for assigned features

  • Create test plans, reports and manuals for Telematics Control Unit (TCU) performance Test Plans.

  • Triage Command and Control feature specific issues during different phases of the vehicle landmarks.

  • Be accustomed to operating agile and quickly to meet customer product demand
