Job Purpose and Impact
The Maintenance Mechanic I, will perform maintenance and troubleshoot production or warehouse machinery typically focused on a singular trade and under frequent guidance. In this role, you will utilize maintenance and reliability practices to complete preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance to ensure assets are maintained.

Compensation: $29.90/hr -$39.52/hr

Principal Accountabilities
Perform general machine repair without assistance
Understand motor control and motor circuit repairs
Utilize PM procedures for assigned machines
May include work with any of the following: equipment troubleshooting, mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, fabrication/welding, electrical/ electronics, reliability and proactive maintenance, computer use
Remain current with the latest technical information through a program of continuing education or advanced apprenticeship training
Required Qualifications
Ability to read/write/speak English
Able to understand schematics and installation/operation manuals
Previous industrial maintenance experience or equivalent schooling
Knowledge/Demonstrated Skills in the following: basic electronics, fabrication, electrical systems, equip/troubleshooting, techanical systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with equipment troubleshooting, mechanical systems, plumbing, and welding is preferred
Previous Cargill experience
Work history in the past 12 months
Certification or completed trainings in Intermediate Machining, Intermediate Electronics, Level I or II PDM Technology
