Job Summary:

As a Trade Compliance Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our trade compliance data is accurate and secure. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to manage data quality with precision and navigate the complexities of international trade laws and regulations. You'll collaborate with a diverse team of experts from IT, legal, logistics, and operations, creating a seamless integration of data governance practices that propel our trade compliance objectives forward. Work Arrangement: Hybrid; onsite 3 or more days a week in Davidson, NC or San Diego, CA; Sponsorship is not offered for this role

Key Responsibilities:

Data Governance Framework:

  • Supports the strategic development, delivery and execution of a standardized compliant trade data governance program to support the enterprise for the functional area of responsibility in coordination with the Regional Director of

  • Trade Compliance - Americas.

  • Oversees and designs data governance framework at the enterprise level, with a focus on simplifying data management and facilitating use of tools such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.

  • Monitor and enforce adherence to data governance policies across the organization.

  • Responsible for querying as well as analyzing data

Data Quality Management:

  • Define data quality metrics and establish processes for data quality assessment and improvement.

  • Conduct regular data quality audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Collaborate with data owners and stewards to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay up-to-date with international trade laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • Ensure that trade compliance data management practices align with regulatory requirements.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor data governance and compliance metrics.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data governance or data management

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel required

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Oracle or other ERP as well as E2Open system knowledge preferred

  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirements preferred

  • Up to 10% travel

Base Salary: $65,000 - $90,000

Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
