This role is Hybrid, and will sit out of our Headquarters in Davidson, NC at least three days a week.

Role Summary:

In this critical role, you will play a key part in advancing our Procure to Pay processes by developing and executing process optimization strategies that includes including utilization of AI and automation (e.g. RPA). Collaborating with IT, procurement teams, materials planning teams and source system owners, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our data architecture, focusing on high-quality data collection and management. Your technology and data architecture expertise will be vital in enhancing supply chain processes and establishing robust data governance and management practices.

Key responsibilities include developing and refining data models, technically designing data products, and optimizing workflows. Your role demands sophisticated analytical skills to develop, test, and maintain predictive machine learning models. A significant part of your role will be to build and manage data pipelines, oversee data infrastructure, engage in custom application development, and handle database management tasks.

As a senior member of the Business Operations leadership team, you will contribute to broader business strategy and operations beyond your core data responsibilities. This includes participating in cross-functional projects, helping to implement standard practices for operational efficiency, leading and training a team, and continuous improvement. While your primary focus remains on data architecture and science, your role will indirectly support broader business initiatives, including risk management, productivity improvement, and fostering positive relationships across different units within the organization. This position will report directly to the Global Business Operations Leader.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the as-is processes and tools, their underlying data architecture and develop a future strategy and execution plan for process, tools and organization optimization

• Lead and manage the performance of the business operations data team

• Validate and enhance data architecture in collaboration with IT, source system owners, and other functions within the organization.

• Partner with IT and source system owners for robust data governance and management.

• Proactively address data collection and quality issues.

• Implement AI and automation solutions for supply chain process improvements.

• Define data models and create new data pipelines.

• Develop and maintain advanced predictive machine learning models.

• Manage data pipelines, infrastructure, and database systems.

• Manage data architect, data engineer, and data scientist personas.

• Participate in the creation of data and analytics strategies to capture new and evolving opportunities for our internal customers.

• Lead the technical design of data products, ensuring adherence to established patterns.

• Collaborate with analysts and product owners on the development of data product solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field. An additional qualification in Data Science or AI is highly desirable.

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in data and analytics operations, with a strong emphasis on database design, data engineering, and analytics leadership.

• Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing teams of data and analytics professionals.

• Advanced skills in database and data model design, with a focus on using AI to develop innovative data products.

• Strong familiarity with application development tools and processes.

• In-depth knowledge of supply chain operations.

• Robust experience in project management with proficiency in both waterfall and agile/SCRUM methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to use lean tools to drive process enhancements.

• Hands-on experience with cloud computing and data storage tools, particularly Google Cloud Platform.

• Exceptional ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders on data product solutions.

• Experience in leading significant change management initiatives.

• Proven ability to manage large, complex cross-functional projects.

• A balance of strategic oversight and willingness to be hands-on in delivering initiatives and programs.

• Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution, with a forward-thinking mindset.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%, with adherence to any COVID-related restrictions.

Base Pay Range: $140,000-$200,000. Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan.
