The Sr. Manager, Crisis Response and Traveler Safety, is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering an enterprise-wide global crisis management and traveler safety program. This role provides the strategic direction and final decision-making capability within the crisis response and travel safety programs and is crucial for maintaining the safety and security of Trane Technologies employees, business travelers and expatriates globally.
Responsible for Trane Technologies’ overall response to crises.
Develops and provides oversight of crisis management plans at the enterprise, business, and local level for use during crisis events.
Determines event level and declares a crisis where necessary.
Ensures compliance with Trane Technologies’ crisis management procedures.
Delegates responsibility to relevant crisis team members.
Communicates directly with and informs the Executive Leadership Team during crisis events.
Partner with corporate travel to provide security training for employee travel, coordinate emergency response, and risk assessment.
Manages the International SOS emergency medical, safety and security program.
Provides oversight for executive, dependent, event and travel security protocols.
Develops executive protection strategies for expatriate staff in foreign countries.
Keeps abreast of economic, geo-political, groups, threats and trends that may affect the Companys operations, world-wide.
Provide direction to third-party security providers.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate security with a global organization.
Preferred industrial experience.
Ability to partner with other functions internally such as Ethics & Compliance, Human Resources, Audit, Legal, and Corporate Travel.
Preferred experience in coordinating travel safety efforts with third party vendors.
Experience in managing crisis situations and/or corporate crises.
Excellent leadership skills during high stress situations.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively at all levels.
Field and security travel experience in Latin America, Asia and Europe.
