Job Summary : The Portfolio Leader is an experienced professional that will coach the Product Management team in the standard work, process and strategic practices around product life cycle management at Trane Technologies. The role is responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue growth targets, maintaining or growing market share and expanding contribution margin.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

Responsibilities:

· Set strategy for the Arctic chiller portfolio; guiding product managers in the prioritization of specific investments to grow their product lines.

· Ensure a strategic vision for both the Grand Rapids, MI and Newberry, SC Product Growth Team - using standard work for strategy, in-line management, and GDLO(NPD). Provide coaching on the application of processes and tools.

· Ensure Product Growth Team is performing against defined metrics in the plan including organic growth revenue, EBIDTA margins, market share, and price realization.

· Drive the multi-generational product and technology roadmaps with the product management team, utilizing disciplined portfolio and innovation management processes and tools.

· Work actively across the organization to identify, create and implement sound business growth plans across three primary segments – comfort cooling, high-tech verticals and Electrification of Heat.

· Establish relationships and engage in customer conversations as an expert. Understand and anticipate unmet customer needs to influence new product development.

· Ensure accurate product forecasts for Long Range Planning, Annual Operating Plans and SIOP cycles; including an opportunity pipeline of strategic deals.

Qualifications:

· This role prefers 7+ years leadership experience with functional expertise. Will need to have a depth of understanding around Product Management, solid business and financial acumen and people leadership capability.

· Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred

· Must be able to travel 25-35% of the time

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills – capable and comfortable working with senior executives internally and externally.

· Deep technical background, with experience in sales, marketing, or engineering preferred.

· Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

· Demonstrated ability to think big out over a 5-7 year time horizon; should have a proven track record of innovative solutions and thinking.

Base Pay Range: $155,000-$287,500

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
