Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Operational Excellence Leader with a focus on supply chain functional excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of effectively driving improvements and optimizing processes in areas such as materials, quality, EHS (environment, health, and safety), manufacturing engineering, and supplier development. In this strategic leadership position, you will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality performance, and overall supply chain effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and lead implement a comprehensive operational excellence strategy aligned with the organization's goals, with a specific focus on supply chain functional excellence.

· Lead and oversee cross-functional collaboration between materials management, quality assurance, EHS, manufacturing engineering, and supplier development teams to optimize performance throughout the supply chain.

· Lead and support strategy development and execution focused the integrated supply chain of the future.

· Identify areas for improvement within supply chain functions and develop initiatives to drive operational efficiency, increase productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for supplier development and establish closer relationships with key suppliers to enhance quality, reliability, and responsiveness.

· Establish and maintain strong partnerships with external vendors, customers, and suppliers to drive mutually beneficial performance improvements and implement best practices.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to operational excellence, supply chain management, and related areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in operational excellence, supply chain management, and related functions, preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry.

  • Strong expertise in materials management, quality assurance, EHS, manufacturing engineering, and supplier development.

  • Demonstrated success in implementing and managing operational excellence programs, Lean, or similar methodologies.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of coaching, developing, and inspiring cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficient in using relevant industry software and tools, such as ERP systems, statistical analysis software, and project management tools.
