Job Summary:

The Human Resources Pre-Hire Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting candidates and hiring mangers throughout the pre-hire process. This roll will provide guidance and expertise on data validation at the point of entry to enhance data quality and drive adoption of best practices. In addition, this role is responsible for supporting self-service tool adoption to reduce manual processes, leading process-improvement initiatives, and participating in special projects. This role is critical to help the HR Services organization meet its goals for productivity, quality of service, and overall effectiveness.

There is preference to fill this role in Davidson, NC but we may consider fully remote/virtual.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports candidates and hiring managers during the pre-hire process, starting at the point when an offer is accepted all the way through getting the new employee set up in the HRMS systems.

  • Manages the Background Verifications process, providing timely communication with candidates. Includes working with North America Talent Acquisition, Human Resources Business Partners, and Legal.

  • Provide flexible support across the HR Solutions team to help balance workloads and ensure backup for other activities outside pre-employment.

  • Supports North America Human Resources team with accurate and timely people data changes in our core HR Data Management system.

  • Understands the lifecycle of an employee and can relate that to data changes via employee/manager self-service for onboarding, off boarding, job changes, compensation changes, supervisor changes, and company transfers.

  • Participates in process improvement projects to ensure goals, work streams, and timelines are met for various initiatives and cyclical projects.

  • Lead small scale process improvement initiatives.

  • Understands HR technology and data structures along with the impacts of transaction processing.

  • Identifies recommends and documents business process improvements and efficiencies that leverage technology.

  • Develop and document standard operating procedures and training materials for the Pre-Employment team.

  • Process appropriate, accurate, and timely employee and job data changes in HRMS system as needed.

  • Generates reports to help drive business decisions and overall integrity of job data.

  • Maintains levels of productivity and quality based on department standards.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow up and resolution.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle competing priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in HR, business or analytics related field required

  • Some professional experience in Human Resources, HRIS, talent & onboarding, employee data entry or related experience required

  • Proven intermediate Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint required

  • Experience with Human Resources information systems preferred (e.g. Workday, PeopleSoft, Taleo, ServiceNow, Kronos, ADP)

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $55,000 to $70,000

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
