Trane Technologies is hiring a Finance Manager for its RHVAC Product Management team. The Finance Manager, Product Management, is responsible for all aspects of the Residential HVAC financial reporting and analysis for price, volume, product mix, and portfolio profitability. Additionally, this role is the primary business partner for the RHVAC Product Management & Pricing team. This includes the preparation and development of the BU PVM (Price, Volume, Mix) tool, period ending analysis, coordination of the monthly forecast process, contributing to the development of the long range as well as the annual operating plan. The Finance Manager is also responsible for partnering across our various internal finance teams, SIOP, and Product Management teams on demand planning.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to influence stakeholders, capability to balance multiple projects and priorities, and initiative on process improvement to drive profitability and understanding in the BU.

This role is a hybrid role at the Davidson office.

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

*What you will do:  *

· Ownership of BU Price, Volume, Mix (PVM) analysis; inclusive of LRP, AOP, Mid-Year forecast, and actual

· Develop routine and ad hoc analysis to support business decisions. Examples include pricing plan impacts, portfolio strategy shift margin analysis, and regulation impacts

· Strong business partnership with the Product Management and Pricing team and other functions such as SIOP, Finance and ISC

· Assist Product Management team in management of the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting and forecasting as needed

· Prepare for and assist in conducting monthly business reviews with leadership teams

· Responsible for managing the close cycle, forecasting, and AOP/LRP for Product Management functional budget; analyzing monthly, quarterly and YTD results.

· Drive financial excellence through strong controllership, continuous improvement, and standard work in processes as it relates to general accounting activities (revenue recognition, standard cost, capitalized variances, project accruals, asset capitalization)

· High level of proficiency at analysis of financial information and interpretation into useful information which can be communicated to non-financial personnel

· Leverage analytics to drive Finance transformation and greater business insights

· Flexible financial business partnering activities dependent on the needs of our partners

What you will bring:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent required. MBA a plus.

· Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance, economics, or related field

· Must demonstrate high personal integrity and ethics

· Experience in Tableau, Alteryx, Oracle, and OneStream a plus

· Accurate appraisal, interpretation, analysis of financial results; development of interpretive reporting (bridges, variance analysis)

· Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills

· High level of learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and focus on continuous improvement

· Possess excellent organization and time management skills to be able to handle several assignments at one time and work in matrix organization

· Ability to analyze mixed datasets and report out on findings to various levels of leadership

Base Pay Range: $

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
