Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Diversity and Inclusion Leader to join our team. You will play a critical role within our Diversity and Inclusion team responsible for amplifying culture and DI initiatives across Trane Technologies. The individual in this role will be proactive, resourceful, and innovative in driving change and promoting Diversity and Inclusion within the organization. As a self-sufficient leader, you will build alliances with stakeholders and groups to strengthen our culture and enhance inclusion for all. Your expertise in translating data analytics into organizational strategy into effective and executable action plans will be crucial.

Where is the work:

Due to the nature of this role, this position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analytics and Insights:
  • Utilize data analytics and metrics to identify trends, gaps, and areas of opportunity related to diversity and inclusion.

  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive strategy development and decision-making.

  1. Regional Partnerships:
  • Collaborate with HRBPs, COEs and regional leadership to understand their specific needs and challenges related to diversity and inclusion.

  • Partner closely to design and implement tailored programs that effectively address those needs and drive positive change.

  1. Strategic Alignment:
  • Align short-term project and program deliverables with Trane Technologies' 2030 commitments and long-term strategic goals.

  • Develop and successfully execute action plans to meet or exceed these commitments, ensuring progress is tracked and communicated effectively.

  1. Leadership and Delivery:
  • Build strong alliances within the businesses to execute strategic commitments in alignment with the company's diversity and inclusion objectives.

  • Foster a culture of inclusion within the organization that differentiates us in the industry and promotes a sense of belonging for all employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Sociology) is required. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in diversity and inclusion roles, ideally in a global or regional capacity.

  • Strong data analytics skills with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex and large datasets.

  • Proven track record in partnering with regional leadership to design and deliver successful diversity and inclusion programs.

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of diversity and inclusion best practices and industry trends.

  • Proven track record as an effective communicator and change agent, with the ability to drive high levels of adoption and engagement.

  • Ability to pivot effectively and adapt strategies in response to changing external legislative requirements and dynamic market environments.

  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive levels.

Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Proven strategic thinking ability along with experience developing strategic plans.

  • Strong change management abilities, with the capacity to navigate and lead through organizational transformation and resistance.

  • Demonstrated agility and ability to navigate uncertainty and ambiguity in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

  • Proven ability to influence decision-making processes and drive change across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the strategic priorities and dynamics within a global organization.

Base pay for this position is $145,000-195,000.

Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
