This is a Remote position .

Trane is hiring a Contractor Program Manager ! The Contractor Program Manager will support the growth of Trane’s national relationships with strategic General Contractors and manage all administrative aspects of Trane’s Mechanical Contractor growth programs. The objective of this role will be to achieve a consistently positive customer experience across a broad scope of project and program types that may conflict with Trane’s traditional regional territory structure. The Contractor Program Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and standard work that will position Trane to building and expand existing new relationships in the General Contractor and Mechanical Contactor vertical markets.

Responsibilities:

General Contractors:

· Maintain relationships with strategic General Contractors and serve as a liaison to facilitate a consistently positive customer experience throughout the preconstruction, sale, and fulfillment stages of the project delivery process.

· Capture best practices to ensure a positive customer experience across multiple project types and across Trane’s traditional regional borders.

· Maintain rapport with regional equipment solutions managers and coordinate with them to resolve issues as they arise.

· Work with manufacturing plant resources to build and update a condensed lead time report specific to target customers and projects.

· Leverage relationships with plant resources to resolve project specific shipping delays.

· Support General Contractor business development activities and leverage existing and new relationships in the pursuit of large strategic projects.

· Maintain customer satisfaction by supporting company initiatives, building customer relationships, investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders.

Mechanical Contractors:

· Support the administration of Trane’s Mechanical Contractor growth programs.

· Coordinate with Trane’s Marketing and Sales Center of Excellence stakeholders to ensure accurate and consistent administration of the Contractor Partner Program and existing Cooperative Business Agreements tied to large national Mechanical Contractors.

· Maintain the integrity of all Mechanical Contractor programs by building relationships with both internal and external program participants and addressing all program related concerns in a timely and consistent manner.

· Establish standard work and communicate best practices across all Mechanical Contractor programs.

Qualifications:

· Advanced understanding of the development phase related to various project types and opportunities, knowledgeable on all construction systems and technologies.

· Must demonstrate strong leadership skills, ability to coordinate with project managers, aptitude to influence without authority, organizational expertise, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management Degree.

· Combination of degree or 5-9 years of experience.

Annual Base Pay Range - $94,950 – $148,500

Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed. Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
