The Compliance and Strategic Programs Leader role directly supports IT Compliance and Controls and supports functional and enterprise strategic initiatives as part of Office of CIO (OCIO). This position is responsible for driving process improvements, ensuring adherence to compliance standards such as Payment Card Industry (PCI), Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications (SWIFT), Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), and IT Controls including Controls Self Assessment (CSA). This role will partner with IT and SBU subject matter experts/leaders to drive overall improvements to current process and deliver successful results on assigned compliance and strategic initiatives. This leader will also be responsible for driving communications planning and executive-level updates for assigned strategic programs on behalf of OCIO.

Where is the work:

This is a Remote position.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating IT strategic programs and compliance process improvements and adherence

  • Conducting regular assessments of IT Controls, PCI, SWIFT, and CMMC

  • Evaluate and effectively communicate deficiencies and support the timely delivery of solutions that resonate with the vision, strategy, and direction of the IT compliance program

  • Work closely with internal and external auditors and internal teams to address findings and recommendations from audits.Monitoring and tracking progress on remediation efforts and reporting status to leadership

  • Monitors updates to regulatory requirements under supported compliance frameworks and adjusts program requirements as needed and reports changes to leadership

  • Responsible for driving overall coordination and alignment of consistent practices across Shared Services and Regional IT.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent technical field

  • Proven track record of success in IT or corporate/shared services, with a minimum of 8 years of experience

  • Experience in IT Project and Program Management

  • Strategic thinker with ability to proactively plan and roll up program activities

  • Change management and strategic communications background/experience

  • Demonstrated success in delivering large scale complex programs/projects and initiatives

  • Experience in cybersecurity compliance, IT general controls management, audit, information security, risk management approaches and processes

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite

  • Ability to travel up to 10-15%.

  • Governance – ensures the proper risk and governance standards are in place to deliver the best outcomes for our customers, clients, and shareholders

  • Execution - Manage and implement program changes and interventions as needed to ensure achievement of both OCIO deliverables and business outcomes

Compensation:

Base Salary: $120,000 - $159,000

Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
