What you would be doing
Creative technical idea generation based on preliminary research and sound engineering principles
Detailed design from concept to production with high attention to detail
3D CAD modelling
Managing prototype production and testing to prove out principles and production solutions
Liaising with different manufacturers and suppliers to ensure solutions are easily transferred into production
Interfacing with clients from report generation to demonstrating your production-ready solutions.

What we need from you
Current grades indicating achievement of 1st or 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering
Creative problem solving with an aptitude for researching and applying different technologies
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (for plastic/metal) and their design requirements
Strong analytical skills including performing engineering calculations
Having a keen, pro-active and flexible approach
Good presentation and communication skills
Ability to use 3D CAD and create detailed engineering drawings
