Engineered Floors Employment Warper Creeler in Dalton, Georgia
Creelers effectively work to maintain the production of quality carpet.
Load correct yarn on creel racks, and verify tube and case labels are correct
Splice ends of yarn, cutting minimal excess yarn and placing in appropriate container
Blow ends of yarn back through creel tubes to the machine
Remove empty tubes from the creel and neatly stack them in a box
Remove packages of unused yarn from the creel and place into inventory
Observe the yarn path and correct any issues
Neatly stack “skinner cones” in boxes
Maintain and use tools of the job properly, e.g. scissors, snips, ring knife and ear plugs, yarn dolly/buggy, broom and dust pan, and apron
Maintain a clean work area, keeping creels free of lint, dirt, and yarn scraps
Ability to reach posts and tubes of creel rack ranging from 1’ to 6.5’ high, and manually lift and control packages of yarn that weight up to 12 lbs.
Must be able to push yarn dollies/cart loaded with yarn through the creel with a maximum weight of 500 pounds
Ability to perform various repetitive movements, including: bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and standing
