Production Scheduler

We are looking for a dynamic and driven purchasing manager wiith experience in planning, direct, and coordinate the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products, and services in one of our top global manufacturers that serves retailers and manfacturers worldwide and for a full time opportunity! Location: Dalton, GA Pay: 40-50,000+ Full Time + Benefits Responsibilities Include, but not limited:

  • Negotiate sales or lease agreements for products or services.

  • Prepare financial documents, reports, or budgets.

  • Analyze data to assess operational or project effectiveness.

  • Develop operating strategies, plans, or procedures.

  • Develop organizational policies or programs.


  • Develops production schedules for all areas of production including Decorating and Assembly/packing, based on customer orders and delivery requirements and current work load across impacted equipment.

  • Conducts time studies across departments to aid in the scheduling of future orders.

  • Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customer service, sales team, and plant production departments to ensure the on-time completion of products through monitoring order status from start to finish.

  • Expedites materials for production as needed to meet deadlines.

  • Assists in maintaining the amount of raw materials inventory necessary to meet planned production schedules.

  • Tracks the flow of materials through the assigned areas.

  • Adjusts planned production schedules as necessary in order to assure items ship in a timely manner.

  • Reviews status and recommends use or disposition of aged, slow moving, or obsolete materials.
