Position Description

What does a great Product Manager do?

Through research, analysis and ongoing interaction and partnerships with the broader Product Management and Strategy team, clients and other team members, you will be accountable for the design and delivery of new product offerings for our billing and payment solutions. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in defining the path forward for new revenue generating products.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop the long-term strategy, product roadmap, and go-to-market plan for the new product ideas

  • Develop ideas from concepts to revenue generating products or services

  • Define the value proposition for each new initiative, including sales training & launch materials

  • Define the revenue plans, pricing structures & goals for the new product initiatives

  • Define the competitive landscape related to the new initiatives

  • Partner closely with internal Fiserv teams to support revenue growth and increased adoption and usage of products

  • Improve the business value by developing sales and marketing tactics aimed at driving new business offerings

  • Drive all go-to-market plans especially readying and educating all internal groups on the new offerings

  • Mentor junior product team members in how to define strategies for new products and go-to-market details

  • Work with Legal team to develop Terms of Use, SOWs and Privacy documents as required

  • Provide expertise on new product(s) for existing and prospective clients

  • Define and prioritize the features

  • Communicate status to all stakeholders and adjust as necessary based on feedback

  • Solid understanding of users, the market place, competition and of future trends for the domain or type of product being developed.

  • Own and drive the requirements for your product area, including the user flow and website design, data/tracking/reporting requirements, admin tools, services/APIs (if applicable) and overall usability.


Travel is expected to be up to 15%.

Basic qualifications for consideration:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or software engineering preferred or equivalent experience


  • 5+ years’ of Product Management experience

  • Direct Experience defining new product strategies and owning entire launch & go-to-market product life cycles

  • Proven ability & use of Product Life Cycle Management

  • Ability to translate a high level vision into an executable strategy and keep the team focused to deliver on time

  • Deep understanding of internet technologies, consumer facing online commerce and online user experiences

  • Thrive and succeed in delivering widely adopted technology products/services in a dynamic, fast-growing environment

  • High-energy self-starter and creative thinker who balances strong customer and quality focus while thinking big

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and comfortable working both independently and with a team

  • Strong leader who prioritizes well, communicates clearly and effectively, and enjoys working in a group of talented, opinionated, high-energy and result oriented individuals


  • MBA preferred

  • Understanding of the payment space and ecommerce


The Biller Solutions Product Management team is responsible for execution against the forward-looking product roadmap of Fiserv’s billing and payments strategy.

Our current office is located off of North Central Expressway in Dallas. Our team will be moving to Frisco, Texas.
