Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst - Retail - Store Reporting position will provide financial reporting, support, and analysis for the Retail Store P&L. The purpose of the role is to report weekly and monthly financial performance for Store & Field Management. Many of these reports are a critical tool used by the leadership team to help manage the financial and operational performance of the business. The individual will take an active role in identifying improvement opportunities and will partner cross functionally with business partners throughout the company. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate that is eager to learn the Retail Reporting process and get experience with process improvement.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Retail Sales, Pharmacy Scripts and P&L

  • Reporting on Weekly & Monthly results vs Budget/Forecast

  • Maintenance of financial data sources

  • Effectively communicating results and findings to leadership

  • Proactively identify systemic improvement opportunities and work through implementation

  • Assist in variance department projects in support of team goals

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years financial reporting and analysis experience, preferably in a retail organization

  • 2+ years in a role supporting multiple projects/responsibilities simultaneously, while ensuring flexibility to meet deadlines and support team goals

  • 1+ years of financial and accounting concepts experience

  • 1+ years of Excel (Vlookup, pivot table) and PowerPoint experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years related financial reporting experience, preferably in a retail organization

  • MBA

  • SAP/SmartView Experience

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment

  • Excellent PC skills including Access and Power Query

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business, related field preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $107,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
