CVS Health Senior Assistant Loss Prevention - APS in Cumberland, Rhode Island

Job Description

As a Senior Assistant for Loss Prevention, you will be working as part of the Temperature management Team. You will utilize outstanding multitasking skills to assist with vendors to project manage the installation of temperature monitoring devices for retail sites. To be successful in this role, it is necessary that you have the ability to manage multiple vendors, schedules and communicating with various departments. You will establish a data base and pull reporting that satisfy the business compliance requirements. You will also work with management team to build a matrix to triage alerts and strategies to deploy service tickets to contractors to make the necessary repairs and perform various tasks in data entry and remote alarm management. As a Sr Assistant, you will:- Support Energy Management Systems project management program using internal and external resources Coordinating/tracking device installs - Develop processes and procedures on handling alerts Install devices in stores - Create reporting form the hosted WEB platform to streamline compliance processes - Generate alarm related reports for area facilities team Communicate and develop relationships with Facilities to drive efficiency with monitoring devices - Answer phones and assists store personnel with troubleshooting ideas to rectify any issues with EMS devices or systems - Assist in maintaining accurate databases by performing data entry functions - Access hosted systems via WB and makes program changes as needed - Preform system backups and system maintenance as instructed - Identify documents and reports alarm maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel - Respond to alarm events by calling/dispatching appropriate authorities and following written instructions for specific events - Research with compliance all local and National requirements for monitoring temperature for RX and Food safety. OBJECTIVES: · Aid in the installation and tracking of all devices · Ensure devices are functioning normally · Monitor temperatures of all refrigeration devices nation wide · Analyze trends for failing devices · Provide data and reports of losses and potential losses · Design and execute presentations of reports

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of work experience, ideally in an emergency dispatch, IT call center, or retail store environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior loss prevention analytics or relevant business analysis experience strongly preferred - Experience using Excel and Access strongly preferred - Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, accurately and professionally, both verbally and in writing - Experience with vendor management - Proven ability to effectively interact with management and Sr. management - Strong skills with presenting ideas and innovation with EMS - Proven ability to prioritize competing demands - Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail - Demonstrated ability to maintain information in the strictest confidence - Experience providing customer service, preferably over the telephone, with proven ability to be sensitive to each request and apply strict confidentiality


Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.
