CVS Health Retail Inventory Analyst in Cumberland, Rhode Island

Job Description

This position will be part of the Front Store Inventory Gross Margin team. Team responsibilities include the weekly close of the Front Store Inventory Activity Report (IAR), weighted average cost (WAC) maintence, inventory review and margin review as well as associated weekly and monthly financial reporting and reconciliations. You will be re responsible for but not limited to: · Assisting in the weekly and monthly close processes· Posting journal entries· Reviewing the IAR· Completing SOX requirements including account reconciliations · Distributing reporting to business partners · Performing ad hoc analysis and requests · Working with large amounts of data from various systems · Learning and understanding data flows both in and out of Mainframe/SAP ECC (Cost System)/ SAP S4 (GL)

Required Qualifications

0+ years of accounting/finance experienceBachelors degree required in Accounting, Finance or Business1+ years of Excel in an academic or professional environment

• Inventory experience• Cost accounting experience• Experience with SAP or other client-server general ledger package• Extensive knowledge of Access


• Bachelors Degree required; preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business.
