CVS Health Finance Analyst, Senior in Cumberland, Rhode Island
The Finance Analyst, Senior responsibilities, but are not limited to:• Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded for the Information Technology group in Pharmacy Services Segment (PSS)• Prepares, reviews, and posts month-end journal entries. Ensures information is gathered ahead of the close, intercompany transactions are agreed upon with other finance colleagues, and issues resolved in a timely manner• Reviews funding on professional service requisitions, partner with non-finance colleagues to properly enter submission in Ariba Procure to Pay system.• Directly involved with long term strategy concepts, OpEx and CapEx including preparing and auditing forecast projections and variance analysis. Key partner and liaison with CVS Treasury team located in our corporate office in Rhode Island. • Administers the Statement of Work (SOW) schedules and recording of Capital vs. OpEx spend by required accounting principles GAAP• Liaison with CVS corporate, IT and PMO administration. Special assignments with our partners include labor hours reporting, capital purchase • Manages special finance projects and other ad-hoc requests as assigned

• Broad understanding of basic general ledger software and reporting tools.• Experience with SAP S4 Hana and Hyperion are highly desirable, or any of the major finance systems (Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft)• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational and prioritization skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously• Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and to seek opportunities to improve customer service by simplifying process• Ability to comprehend and interpret business documents, vendor contracts and respond effectively to sensitive issues• May work overtime as necessary to meet required deadlines• Experience with using higher-level Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP.) Knowledge of VBA and or Database concepts will also be highly useful• Must be a team player with flexibility in taking on new tasks, working in a fast paced environment and making recommendations based on analysis
• Bachelor’s degree required; Preferably in Finance, Accounting
