Adecco Staffing Engineering Technician in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

You landing a new Engineering Technician job would be pretty good. Our client is in Cranberry Twp would be simply awesome. We're looking for an Engineering Technician to join the amazing team at an existing client.

Here's a little of what you'll be working on:

  • Position reports to the Product Engineering Manager for Head, Eye, Face, and Hearing Protection.

  • Will be a hands-on contributor with demonstrated capabilities to work within a team.

  • Role will support verification testing for R&D project teams as well as provide general laboratory support.

    Interested? Here's what we're looking for:

  • Prepare prototypes and product samples to support product verification, validation, and demonstration activities.

  • Prepare, calibrate, validate, maintain, and organize test equipment and test-ups.

  • Perform product verification tests and approval agency tests in accordance with defined test plans and recognized test procedures.

  • Record, analyze, and document test methods and test results.

  • Maintain laboratory facilities and capabilities to facilitate safe and efficient product testing. Monitor laboratory conditions and implement cleaning and maintenance activities as needed.

    Valued Qualities

  • Ability to set-up, calibrate, and use varied instrumentation and laboratory equipment including impact measurement devices, acceleration measurement devices, temperature measurement devices, dimensional measurement devices, tensile and compressive force measurement devices, and environmental chambers.

  • Ability to use software tools to record, analyze, and document moderately complex test data.

  • Ability to prepare well-written and organized test procedures and test reports.

  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

  • Ability to multi-task and complete assignments in a timely manner.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate in a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team environment.

  • Excellent work-ethic.

  • Associates degree in a technology discipline (mechanical engineering technology preferred).

  • Two years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Strong computer skills and experience with MS Excel and Word.
