Aerotek Customer Service Representative in Coon Rapids, Minnesota


The customer service representative is responsible for answering 80+ phones calls within a call center setting. Phone calls can vary from answering and directing phones calls, taking messages for providers, answering questions around services, schedule/reschedule/cancel appointments, etc.

The call center is a very high paced environment and requires high attention to detail. The call center is experience high hold times and call volumes. Candidates must understand that they may be answering calls from angry and upset customers and must be able to de-escalate the customer and not take the upset call personally.

For the first 3 months, this position will be answering, directing, and taking messages for providers. Scheduling and registration training will be learned closer towards the 4-6 months mark once they have mastered the answering services.

Must Haves: 1) 1 year of customer service experience 2) 6 months of experience in a fast paced environment or a college degree 3) Ability to type 30 words per minute

Required Personality Traits to verify through references: 1) This position requires someone who can think critically and make independent decisions 2) This individual must be ambitious and willing to learn and grow within this role. 3) They must be compassionate, attentive listeners who are not easily frustrated. They will deal with extremely intense, uncomfortable situations and they must always keep their cool!
