CVS Health Senior Account Executive (NE National Accounts) in Connecticut

Job Description

The Account Director for National Accounts Northeast is responsible for a large complex book of business, which consists of approximately 150,000 lives. - Responsible for strategic growth and retention for the book of business. - Deliver profitable renewals with a focus on membership retention, profitability, increased revenue, and new products and programs.- Build and maintain a positive relationship with senior-level decision-makers at customers and consultants. - Act as a senior strategic business partner to constituentsto optimize the positioning of Aetna’s products and services and to attain profitability and membership objectives.- Prepares client for renewal by explaining cost drivers of benefit plan, offers solutions to reduce costs, delivers renewal to client and producer. - Formulates complex financial decision recommendations and presents them to management.- Leads finalist presentations related to either new business or growth/cross-sell opportunities on designated customers.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 60,400

Maximum: 124,100

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years in a sales and account management environment at an Health Insurance carrier or insurance consulting firm. - Experience with large corporate customers - Able to travel within the Northeast. - Active Health Insurance license or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire. - Excellent presentation skills and strong relationship-building skills. - Experience with managing profitability of customers and strong strong sales and account management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • RFP experience - Active Health Insurance license


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).
