Position Summary:

Hybrid or potential for fully remote

As a ServiceNow Procurement Product Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of procurement processes within the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with stakeholders from procurement, finance, and IT departments to streamline procurement workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance user experience. Your role will involve defining requirements, configuring the ServiceNow platform, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations. This position plays a key role in managing and maximizing the value of the ServiceNow Procurement product and capabilities. This individual is responsible for understanding the CVS procurement teams’ business requirements, defining product features, and prioritizing the procurement product backlog to ensure proper support to meets organizational goals and objectives. The ServiceNow Procurement Product Owner collaborates with the process owners and the product delivery team to drive business value in alignment with standards and leading practices. This individual uses their extensive knowledge of procurement leading practices and the ServiceNow Procurement product to drive roadmaps, art of the possible conversations, and helps to set vision and strategy to drive continual improvement and value. The ServiceNow Procurement Product Owner owns the product backlog and collaborates with the product delivery and engineering teams to deliver expected outcomes for the process owner, and with the ServiceNow Operations and the CVS Procurement teams for knowledge transfer and the support of new functionalities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of procurement processes within the ServiceNow platform, including requisitioning, purchasing, vendor management, and contract management.

  • Define and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for the ServiceNow procurement products within the organization. Align the platform's capabilities with the company's overall business goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify areas for process improvement.

  • Collaborate with procurement stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to gather and understand their requirements and pain points.

  • Translate business needs into actionable product features and user stories.

  • Create and maintain a prioritized backlog of features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value and urgency.

  • Continuously refine and adjust the backlog to respond to changing business priorities.

  • Configure and customize ServiceNow Procurement modules to align with organizational requirements and best practices.

  • Define and document procurement policies, procedures, and workflows in collaboration with legal, finance, and procurement teams.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the user interface and colleague experience meet the needs and expectations of end-users.

  • Provide input on user interface design and functionality.

  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure delivered features meet the required quality standards.

  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-users to ensure adoption and adherence to procurement processes.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of procurement processes, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to procurement and ServiceNow platform.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement best practices, ServiceNow capabilities, and process optimization.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in total & 3+ years of experience with the ServiceNow product application.

  • Experience working with and managing Source-to-Pay application suite within the ServiceNow platform.

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in supporting procurement processes.

  • 3+ years of experience with procurement processes, including requisitioning, purchasing, vendor management, and contract management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing ServiceNow Procurement modules, including Procurement Catalog, Purchase Orders, Vendor Performance, and Contract Management.

  • Experience with integrations between ServiceNow Procurement modules and third-party systems such as ERP systems or vendor portals.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and IT service management processes.

  • Deep understanding of procurement processes and IT Financial Management is preferred.

  • Ability to design and modify ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs and agent workspace, table management, performance analytics

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Experience in project management, including project planning, execution, and stakeholder management.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with procurement regulations, compliance standards, and best practices

  • Experience with ServiceNow reporting and analytics tools for monitoring procurement KPIs and performance metrics.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies for software development and project management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Professional certifications in procurement, project management, or ServiceNow administration are a plus.

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Procurement certification.

Education

Bachelor degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience(HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
