Atrium Health Manager - Patient Safety Attendants in Concord, North Carolina

Job Summary

Provides leadership, guidance and direction in achieving outcomes consistent with organizational mission, goals and objectives in conjunction with the Director of Patient Care Services. Focuses on patient and family care models and interventions that enhance the patient experience, capacity management and throughput, and operational excellence.

Essential Functions

  • Manages major transformative projects that impact facilities.

  • Integrates evidence-based principles across departments to support desired targets and performance measures.

  • Manages departmental financial performance.

  • Plans, implements, and evaluates projects, services, policies and procedures with the goal of ongoing performance improvement.

  • Recommends the initiation, adjustment or suspension of various programs based on gaps, and program progress.

  • Manages and executes multiple complex projects, ensuring integration, coordination, timing and consistency of process throughout.

  • Works with Patient Care Services leaders on decision-making structures and processes that effect facilities and other operational excellence measures.

  • Develops leaders and departments to achieve at top engagement and quality performance levels.

Physical Requirements

Work requires walking, standing, and sitting. Works in an office environment. Intact sense of sight and hearing. Work requires critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly in stressful situations. Must be able to lift 10lbs. of weight.

Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree preferred; Minimum 2 years of related work experience required.
