Summary of Duties:
The Research Specialist will be involved with all aspects of research on projects related to substance use, child abuse and neglect, and intervention development. The projects currently focus on reducing child abuse and neglect in substance-affected families, reducing opioid overdose deaths, and examining the effects of environmental interventions for reducing child abuse and neglect. Research activities include managing IRB applications and amendments, assisting with programmatic decisions, and writing manuscripts. Additionally, this person will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in day-to-day project management of a variety of different projects.

Master’s degree; extensive experience in working on complex projects; at least two years of experience in implementing new programs and assisting in project management; excellent written and verbal communication skills; solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills; must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with a variety of partners, write technical reports and scientific articles.
Target Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 Annually
