The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 performs analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Being the voice of the tool for all sales channels

  • External sales channels (Independent, strategic partners, call centers)

  • Internal sales channels (Field and Direct Marketing Services (DMS))

Creating agent communications

  • Working with organizational change management and other communication teams for planned communications

  • Sending incident and resolution notifications from SET (Sales Emerging Technology) retail email box

Collaborate with impacted parties

  • Agent Support Unit

  • Account Executives

  • MarketPoint Training

  • Project Management Office

  • Production system maintenance group (PSM)

  • Testing teams

  • Marketing

  • IT

Intake requests and prioritizing enhancements

Daily operations

  • Working escalated tickets

  • Collaborating with IT teams

  • Attend daily standup calls to answer any questions that the Development team may have for the current sprint

  • Story writing

  • Sprint planning

  • Release planning

  • Post production validation (PPV)

Attend several IMPACTS calls

  • Identify other projects that may impact other agent facing tools

  • Speak to the tools and progress on work being done on sales tools

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience with Medicare and the Enrollment process

  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle

  • Experience in problem analysis and process

  • Experience with Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Familiarity with Humana's online electronic enrollment tools

  • Knowledge of Power Apps, including Power BI

  • Prior experience with Azure

  • Problem solving and consultation within complex environments

  • Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation

  • Knowledge of Development Methodologies
