Summary of Duties:
The Ohio State University at Lima seeks a qualified candidate to serve as an Admissions Counselor for the Lima Campus. This position will work to foster student success by managing a recruitment territory including Putnam, Van Wert, Paulding, Defiance, Williams, Fulton, Lucas, Hancock, Henry, Ottawa, and Wood counties. The admissions counselor position will work with Columbus Admissions to cover the Toledo area; manage and advise the college credit plus students; assist with out-of-state recruitment as needed. This position will conduct high school visits; attend college fairs; host receptions; develop relationships with school counselors and community members; work with the Admissions Manager in in building recruitment strategies; serve as admissions outreach liaison for campus programs; assist with Enrollment Services events; and other duties as assigned.
