Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Network System Administrator - Linux and Windows based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
What You'll get to Do:
This position is the primary point of contact for the management of network infrastructure and development systems that includes Active directory integration, Bitbucket, File servers, Application servers, Web servers, and DNS. In addition, this position is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Linux environment to include, but not limited to the following:
Ensuring security updates and patches are current
Adding, maintaining and deleting user accounts
Completing and documenting all required security audits
Managing and maintaining interfaces between MS Windows, Linux systems and Unix systems
Creating and maintaining server configuration documentation for the lab
Creating and maintaining Linux, Unix sys admin processes and procedures
Ensuring all Linux, Unix data is backed up and restoring data as necessary
Ensuring disaster recovery processes and procedures are accurate and current
Monitoring server capacity such as: disk, CPU, memory
Assist with managing all network resources within the Linux, Unix lab environments, to include software licenses
Responsible for managing and maintaining network data storage
Other duties as assigned by the Network Functional Area Manager.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

An active Secret clearance is required.
6 Years with Bachelor's degree in a related field; 10 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
Linux system administration (Solaris SPARC desirable), Backup and Recovery, Technical writing, Secure Implementations, Linux scripting, Ansible playbook development and management.
Linux certification
Multi Factor Authentication implementation experience
Experience with SELinux and Red Hat repository administration
Six years of increasing responsibility in multi-system, multi-platform, Network Systems Administration.
Experience managing lab network infrastructure to include daily operations, security management, corporate compliance, and services administration. S
tandard knowledge of Information Protection server compliance requirements for Unix/Linux servers and workstations and Windows OSs.
Proven project management, process improvement, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
STIG compliance via Ansible, selinux, OpenShift, OpenStack, Multi Factor Authentication, NetApp OnTap, VMware vSphere 6, Red Hat Certified Expert (RHCE), QAS/VAS, Windows, HP C7000 configuration/update/manage.
If individual has any prior knowledge of the C2BMC networks or organization.
If candidate has knowledge, skill sets or experience using protocol analyzers/sniffers (e.g., Wireshark). Experience in DoD authentication & encryption methods/capabilities (Taclanes, TACACS+, RADIUS, Active Directory, GEM-X).
Experience in Network Management Systems (HP Network Node Manager or Solarwinds or NAS/SAN technologies (NetApp, or Gigastore).

Salary Min: $83,600
Salary Max: $125,400
