Pfizer UMO, Sr. Manager, Imaging Services Lead in Collegeville, Pennsylvania

ROLE SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Core Laboratory Services, Unit Management Office (UMO), this position will support the selection and oversight in the imaging service category, the definition of an appropriate SOW, supporting negotiation in line with the needs of CD & O (Clinical Development and Operations). This position is responsible for working transversally with all CD & O functions, development, Legal and external parties to execute vendor service agreements; support CD & O teams in managing the vendor from start-up to close-out of the agreement. This position is also responsible to support the category lead in the development and refinement of the service strategy as assigned.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the development of imaging SOW from the needs as defined by the assessment of the CD & O teams and ensures consistency across vendor relationships

  • Facilitates the resolution of escalations on a primary level with teams across all levels of imaging technology services within CD & O

  • Collaborates and contributes cross-functionally and acts as a representative of Imaging Technology services for process efficiencies and continuous improvements as assigned

  • Applies attention to detail in the review and negotiation of service agreements

  • Track's category progress during clinical studies and functional oversight through day-to-day monitoring of key performance indicators related to imaging timeliness, quality, and vendor performance

  • Supports category appropriate components of study startup, reviewing of site and vendor related documentation along with creating and maintaining standards

  • Participates in vendor governance related activities including monitoring of SLA, KPI and day to day high level oversight

  • Participates in ongoing market analysis for current and new service providers aligned with CD & O strategy

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 7+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience within Imaging Technology service field

  • Proven scope interpretation and negotiation skills, working through related clinical study teams and other functional areas

  • Ability to manage a range of priorities through study start-up and execution of Imaging Technology related field

  • Prior work with a matrixed and decentralized teams, around clinical trial, and drug development projects

  • Strong verbal and written ability with the English language

  • Experience with change management

  • Experience with working with international/global organizations

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
