Lockheed Martin Quality Inspector in Coatesville, Pennsylvania

Description: Performs the inspection of demonstrator and production aircraft for functional operation and conformance to government and company standards and specifications. Inspects the installation and operation of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of aircraft. May perform preflight and postflight inspections in accordance with standard procedure on flight-proven aircraft. May inspect any adjustments, repairs, or modifications made on the aircraft. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have A&P License

Must be a US Citizen, at least 18 years old with ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Must be qualified to perform maintenance on aircraft, aircraft components, and aircraft articles.

Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and use basic hand and measuring tools.

Must have a high school diploma.

This is a safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. DOT’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations require that you participate in a drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine - Amphetamines - Phencyclidine or a metabolite of these drugs.

Desired Skills:

Experience performing maintenance on aircraft, aircraft components, and aircraft articles.

Experience working in aircraft manufacturing; or working aircraft in an FAA-certified Repair Station, commercial operator, or air carrier.

5 years’ experience or a graduate of an FAA approved 18-month training program.
