Specialized Banking Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified candidate that can work independently, in a fast-paced environment, is not adverse to occasional travel, and is looking to hone and develop their client engagement skills.

Summary:

This position will primarily be responsible for co-developing or developing and implementing comprehensive banking solutions for new and existing Specialty Banking account relationships. This position will also work closely with the Specialty Banking Relationship Managers to establish, review and maintain Specialty Banking Accounts and relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Co-develop or develop and implement comprehensive banking solutions.

  • Review and recommend deposit and treasury management products for new banking relationships

  • Manage an existing portfolio of clients by performing periodic calls and reviews, assisting with service related requests, deepening the relationships by providing product and treasury management solutions, and by providing recommendations to other EB&T resources.

  • Organize and maintain key client data in bank’s CRM system.

  • Attend meetings, events, trade shows and conferences to help support sales efforts.

  • Call on both warm and cold leads as needed

  • Assist with any other daily job duties

  • Participate in required training courses related to the job

Qualifications:

  • Strong Communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Excellent customer service and or sales skills along with the ability to answer questions related treasury management products and services, customer accounts and bank related materials

  • Basic math skills

  • Basic phone skills including business and sales etiquette.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school Education or GED

  • Two to three years of customer service or sales experience.

  • Three to five years of banking experience

  • Experience reviewing banking forms and documents is also a plus.

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Google Apps

  • Excel
