Job Description:

We are looking for an Associate Tech Lead in the Embedded Application development team to execute complete embedded software development lifecycle activities. The person hired for this role would be responsible to create scalable and optimized software systems. She/He would be responsible to take ownership of multiple embedded software modules by designing, developing, and maintaining them in collaboration with the SCRUM team and external stakeholders.

Job requirements:

• B.Tech. /B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or similar fields

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software to design, develop, test and debug system software

• Software development experience and strong understanding of 16/32 bit microcontrollers, arm/non-arm architecture platform

• Experience in Micro Controllers or Device Level Programming in C or Assembly

• Solid programming experience in C.

• Experience in porting applications and writing board support packages for multiple microcontroller platforms

• Experience in porting operating systems like free RTOS to microcontroller platform

• Knowledge of communication protocols like UART, SPI, and I2C is essential

• Experience in interfacing with peripherals like EEPROM, ADC, NAND/NOR flash, LCD, etc.

• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets

• Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools

• Exposure to Object-Oriented design and exposure to C++ is an added advantage

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with Agile methodologies will be an added advantage

• Experience working with remote teams located in multiple geographic locations
